Created Original Works for inclusion in various themed art shows at the SugarMynt Gallery in Pasadena, the Mystic Museum in Burbank, Creature Features Gallery in Burbank as well as the Van Eaton Gallery in Sherman Oaks, California.
Commissions
• “Joy Ride” Movie Poster Kowtow Productions (2021)
– Commissioned by Kowtow Productions to create the poster art for this comedy documentary about the lives and travels of Bobcat Goldthwait and his friend, fellow comedian Dana Gould. Bobcat also directed the film.
• SmithFX Magazine Cover (2019)
– Commissioned by owner Shaun Smith to design and paint a mock magazine cover in the style of “Famous Monsters of Filmland” to help advertise his FX company, SmithFX.
• “Timeless” NBC/Universal (2018)
– Commissioned to paint two versions of a portrait in oils of a little girl. One was the completed version. One was “in process” to give the actor something to “paint”.
• “Amazing Stories” Apple TV (2018)
– Illustrated three mock comic book covers for the episode “Dynoman and the Volt”
• Autonomous FX Holiday Greetings (2017 – Present)
– Commissioned to illustrate the company’s annual Holiday greeting card
• “Stan Against Evil” Limited Edition Retro Lunch Boxes (2017)
– Created Original Artwork and oversaw fabrication of a run of retro style lunch boxes for cast and crew gifts. Commissioned by Executive Producer Dana Gould.
• “Good Girls Revolt” Amazon Studios/Sony Pictures International (2016)
– Produced six Gouache paintings of political figures from 1969 to be used as cover art for prop magazines on the newsstands and publishing office depicted in the series.
• “Stan Against Evil” Cast Painting (2016)
An Al Jaffee/ “MAD magazine” style cast portrait commissioned by Executive Producer Dana Gould as a wrap gift for the cast.
• Dana Gould (2016)
– Created posters (painted in Gouache with added Digital Text and Graphics) to promote Dana’s appearances at comedy clubs across the country.
Character Design
• Dana Gould (2010 – 2012)
– Produced color illustrations of character concepts for a new show. (Project to be named later)
– Created character sketches as part of a presentation for pitching an updated version of “Sigmund the Sea Monster”.
• “Bridesmaids” (2011)
– Hired by Make-up Artist Heba Thorisdottir to design and create tattoo art and make-up stencils for the “Drunken Tequila Worm” worn by Rebel Wilson.
• The Character Shop (2010 – 2012)
– “Unnamed ‘Spitting Image’-style puppet based television show” – rendered “mean” celebrity caricatures for pitch presentation.
– Rendered various character sketches of cartoon-style chickens for a proposed television commercial.
